General Rules and Regulations


§ 1 Purpose of the event

 

1. Popularization and promotion of cycling and cycling tourism in the Ochotnica Dolna Community and adjacent communities.

2. Promotion of healthy lifestyle, active leisure, tourism and recreation.

3. Promotion of the regional mountain trails completed in terms of the project „Enklawa aktywnego wypoczynku w sercu Gorców”.

4. Selection of the best individual cyclists and pairs in the final.

5. Setting new trends of organizing cycling events.



§ 2 Organizer

§ 3 Time and place



1. Stage race MTB will he held on 6-9 August 2020.

2. The Race Office will be located at the Wiejski Ośrodek Kultury in Ochotnica Dolna os. Dłubacze 173b on 6 August 2020. Start numbers collection and registration from: 10.00 AM to 1:30 PM. Additionally, competitors from distance FUN can collect numbers on 7 August 2020 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM

3. Four stages for distances HARD and HELL and three stages for distance FUN are held within Ochotnica MTB 4 Towers:

• 6 August 2020 – Stage I – Ochotnica Górna- Wieża Magurki

Individual time race Uphill – 6 km and 520 metres of elevation gain, the same distance HELL and HARD, ( distance FUN does not start)

• 7 August 2020 – Stage II – Ochotnica Dolna- Tylmanowa- Wieża Koziarz-Zarzecze- Zabrzeż- Ochotnica D.

Wyścig ze startu wspólnego:

dystans HELL: 50-60 km i ok. 2300 m przewyższenia,

dystans HARD 35-39 km i ok. 1600 m przewyższenia,

dystans FUN 24-27 km i ok. 900 m przewyższenia (I etap dla tego dystansu)

distance HELL: 50-60 km and around 2300 metres of elevation gain,

distance HARD 35-39 km and around 1600 metres of elevation gain,

distance FUN 24-27 km and around 900 metres of elevation gain (stage I for that distance)

• 9 August 2020 – Stage IV -Ochotnica Dolna- Wieża Lubań- Krościenko n. Dunajcem- Grywałd- Kluszkowce- Ochotnica Górna- Harklowa- Szlembark- Ochotnica Dolna,

Line race:

distance HELL: 65-70 km and around 2900 metres of elevation gain,

distance HARD: 45-50 km and around 2000 metres of elevation gain.

Distance FUN: 25-30 km and around 1100 metres of elevation gain (Stage III for that distance)

• in the Open M and K category on distance HARD and HELL: Leaders of the race after stage I, II, III and IV and on distance FUN after stage I, II and III will be decorated with the T-shirt of the race leader.

• places 1-3 in a given stage: Women Open FUN/HARD/HELL, Men Open FUN/HARD/HELL

• places 1-3 in the age categories and pairs.



§ 5 Registration



1. Participation forms are conducted in the Timedo System via http://system.timedo.pl from 20 October, from 12:00 until the limit is reached.

2. Registration in person is possible at the Race Office during office working hours.

3. The number of participants is limited to 50 cyclists at each distances.

4. To confirm the participation, the cyclist needs to pay the fee in accordance with the payment terms. The organizer considers fee posting date to the organizer's account, not the date of filing the application.

5. The registration fee in OCHOTNICA MTB 4 TOWERS depends on the date of payment and the declared distance, which is:

- FUN 259 PLN/ HARD 349 PLN/ HELL 379 PLN bank transfer to 30 November 2019

- FUN 299 PLN/ HARD 379 PLN/ HELL 409 PLN bank transfer to 31 December 2019

FUN 339 PLN/ HARD 429 PLN/ HELL 479 PLN bank transfer to 30 June 2020

- FUN 379 PLN/ HARD 479 PLN/ HELL 529 PLN bank transfer to 4 August 2020

- FUN 420 PLN/ HARD 530 PLN/ HELL 600 PLN bank transfer to 5 August 2020 or cash at the race office.

Additionally, at the race office, the participant will be charged a refundable deposit of 100 PLN, as a security to provide access to the GPS receiver. It will be returned after returning the device to the Organizer after the last stage. If the device is not returned on 9 August 2020, the participant will be charged with additional costs including the purchase of a new device in the amount of 400 PLN.

6. With payment via bank transfer (account number and unique transfer title will be provided in the application generated via Timedo System) the Organizer considers fee posting date to the organizer's account.The organizer is not responsible for payment terms of bank transfers and postal services.

7. All registration fees are gross and include VAT.

8. Invoices are issued automatically and sent by email after payment. The invoice details are confirmed in the application form. In case of an error and the need to correct the invoice, please send an e-mail to faktury@tatraroadrace.com Please enter the correct data, after issuing the invoice it will not be possible to correct the Recipient.

9. The organizer does not provide for reimbursement of the fee in case of resignation and disqualification from participation or after giving up during the race. The register payment is intended for organizational costs of the competition.

10. The Organizer gives the possibility to transfer the number, inclusively without additional fee to another participant to 30 June 2020. After this date, it will only be possible for an additional fee of 100 PLN. This is done by submitting an application to the e-mail faktury@tatraroadrace.com.



§ 6 Participation


1. To participate in the race, the following criteria must be met:

a. Participant must be at least 18 years old

b. Underage competitors, who are at least 16 years old and possess a bicycle card, are allowed to take part in the distance HARD and FUN. They can participate in the race on a condition that their legal guardian will sign a declaration which will be available in the register office.

c. Participant must not be penalized by exclusion or disqualification for using doping.

2. The races are intended for amateur cyclist. Cyclists who hold Masters license and juniors are also entitled to participate in the race.

3. Those in possession of valid ELITA and U-23 licenses are not admitted to participate in the race.

4. MPM Maria Kokoczka i Mirosław Prucnal Spółka Jawna based in Jasło, ul. Żeromskiego 36 are the administrators of personal data processed in connection with the filling system of OCHOTNICA MTB 4 TOWERS. Information about the processing of personal data by Administrator can be found in the privacy policy published on www.timedo.pl/polityka. Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to participate in the OCHOTNICA MTB 4 TOWERS as per the provisions of the General Rules and Regulations. Those who have provided personal information have the right to access their data and correct it or withdraw the consent to its processing at any time. The Organizer may process personal data in connection with the organization of OCHOTNICA MTB 4 TOWERS in cooperation with other entities, to the extent necessary for the proper organization of OCHOTNICA MTB 4 TOWERS.

5. The registration and participation in the race equals automatic consent to the free-of-charge use of images registered in the photographs or video recordings. Participants grant the Administrator of personal data and the Organizer a non-exclusive, territorially unrestricted and 5 year license to use the image registered in the following fields of use:

a. Strengthening and multiplication with any known technique, and distribution in any form,

b. Sharing with sponsors and official partners a copy or copies, on which the image was fixed, to promote the sponsor or the official partner for its sponsorship of the OCHOTNICA MTB 4 TOWERS

c. Storage on computer memory and multimedia networks

d. Duplication of the registered image.

e. Public exposure, display, reproduction and broadcasting and re-broadcasting, as well as the public display in such a way that everyone can have access to it at a place and a time individually chosen by them

f. Posting and publishing in newspapers, on websites, posters and billboards

g. TV and radio broadcasting

h. Publishing participants’ photos in social media with the possibility of marking the participants by name

i. The Organizer has the right to grant OCHOTNICA MTB 4 TOWERS Partners and Sponsors sub-license to use the image taken, referred to above, to the extent not wider than the range of granted licenses.


§ 7 Services for participants



1. The following services are covered by the entry fee:

a. start numbers with chip to be placed on the steering wheel,

b. electronic time measurement,

c. results sent to the given phone number via SMS after each stage,

d. a personal GPS receiver with access to live broadcast,

e. track of each stage for GPS device,

f. refreshments on the race course (fruit, cakes, water, isotonic). At least 3 refreshments on distance HELL, at least 2 refreshments on distance HARD and one refreshment each over the distance FUN,

g. regenerative meal after crossing the finish line (refreshment with fruits, beverages and cakes) and a hot meal after stage II, III and IV, for FUN after stage I, II and III,

h. electronic time measurement,

i. bike washing,

j. marking of the race course in accordance with the standards of the MTB races,

k. medical and rescue support services,

l. contest with prizes for all participants at the end of the Medal Decoration,

m. access to the bike service before and at the end of the stage,

n. judges support,

o. the prizes and trophies for the winners,

p. free access to professional photographs in high quality for any uncommercial use,

r. all participants will receive commemorative Finisher medals which will be handed out at the finish line of the last stage,

s. commemorative Finisher's T-shirt for participants who finish the race.


§ 8 Rules for using a personal GPS receiver



1. During competition before Stages II, III and IV on distance HELL/HARD and Stages I, II and III on distance FUN, participants will receive personal GPS devices, which must be activated during the ride from start to the finish line. At the race office, during the start numbers collection, a refundable deposit of 100 PLN will be charged for the locator, which will be returned to the participants after the stage IV after the return to an authorized person on behalf of the Organizer. If the device is not returned on 9 August 2020, the participant will be charged with additional costs, covering the purchase of a new device in the amount of 400 PLN, at the same time the deposit paid earlier will be transferred to the Organizer's account.

2. After reaching the finish line of a given stage, the competitor gives the GPS confirmation to an authorized person on behalf of the Organizer, who, the next day, one hour before the start, gives it back to the competitors with the confirmation of the device. The devices will be collected to recharge the battery to ensure that there will be no discharge during the competition.

3. In case of an accident on the route or the need for assistance, the participant reports his starting number to the emergency number given in the competition office, the Organizer's services will locate the participant in order to provide the fastest possible assistance.

4. The devices will also be used to carry out live transmissions, which will enable the tracking of individual competitors on the route of a given stage, at the same time the competitor agrees to display his starting number with his name in the transmission. Thanks to this, your friends will be able to see your rivalry live, giving the numbers they are interested in. Link to the transmission will be given on the day of receiving the numbers.

5. The locators will also be used to control the participants' travel along the route, if the control points are omitted, the participant will receive a time penalty, and in the end may be disqualified after verification of the route in the presence of the participant. Each reported case will be considered individually.

6. Access to a participant track record in GPX format will be available after the event.



§ 9 Traffic



1. Competition will be held in open traffic. Organizer services will be supervising places of particular danger, among others, entrances of the roads subordinated to the race course. Public will be informed about the increased traffic of cyclists and a sports event taking place nearby.

2. All participants must comply with principles of the Road Traffic in Poland and right-hand traffic (it is forbidden to enter the road from the right), especially during overtaking; when the slower competitor is obliged to return to/ stay on the right path, giving free way to a faster competitor.

3. The Organizer shall not be liable for any traffic accidents or collisions on the race course caused by and/ or being the fault of participants. Especially in case of races taking part in the mountainous regions all participants are requested to adjust the speed of the bike to their skills, staying on the right side of the road when turning and not shearing the turnings.

4. Participants of the race must pay extreme attention during the downhill rides, and keep in mind that vehicle from the side roads, fields, forests, or individual buildings might appear.



§ 10 Ochotnica MTB 4 Rules:



1. Ochotnica MTB 4 Towers will commence with accordance with the rules of the race.

2. In all disputes not covered by the rules, the Referee Commission shall decide in consultation with the Organizer of the Ochotnica MTB 4 Towers.

3. Individual cyclists and pairs have the right to take part in the competition.

a. A pair of MIX is a Woman and a Man competing at different distances, registered under the same name as the pair.

b. A pair of HELL are two competitors, a pair of man/woman and a pair registered under the same name for a distance HELL are allowed.

c. A pair of MEN HARD are two competitors who entered under the same name to the distance HARD.

d. Participants applying for PAIR classification must indicate with whom they form a "pair". One competitor can be classified in only one classification, but is classified individually. During the competition, it is not possible to change the composition of the PAIR. The PAIR classification will be carried out only for HARD and HELL distances.

4. At the beginning of the stages, all competitors have the same start time and at the finish line of the stages, there is an individual time measurement of each competitor after crossing the finish line.

5. The winners of each stage will be the competitors, who will complete the route of the stage in the shortest time and the pairs whose members will obtain the shortest total time on the route of the stage.

6. The winners in each category in the general classification will be participants and pairs, who in the shortest total time will finish the route of 4 stages of Ochotnica MTB 4 Towers on HARD and HELL distances and the route of 3 stages on FUN distance.

7. The start numbers received from the organizer shall be visible during the whole race and shall be installed at the front on the steering wheel and above the links. The numbers are valid throughout the race. In case of damage or loss of the number, it is possible to issue a duplicate number after paying 30 PLN for one number. The necessity of making a duplicate should be reported to the time measurement at the finish line or at the start of the stage, no later than 60 minutes before the start. Lack or damage of the starting number preventing the judges from reading it may result in disqualification of the Participant.

9. Every participant is obliged to wear a hard helmet on a MTB bike equipped, according to “the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure from December 31th, 2002 with the amendment of October 2012, on the technical conditions of vehicles as well as the scope of their necessary equipment (Dz. U. of 2003. No. 32, item. 262) a bike must have at least a red retro-reflector light in the back and additionally, the organizer requires two working brakes. Bicycles with wheels of any size and with tires of any width might be used, bicycles cannot be fitted with any electrical/ exhaust power. They can only run on the force of the muscles of the legs. The condition of the bicycle during the race is the responsibility of the participant.

10. The organizer does not provide the participant with any health insurance, life insurance or civil liability insurance due to disease, accident, injury, death or any loss or damage that may occur in connection with the presence and/or participation in the OCHOTNICA MTB 4 TOWERS 2020.

11. The participant accepting the regulations declares that he has no health contraindications to participate in organized competitions as well as he is involved in competitions on his own responsibility and acknowledges the fact that participation in the competition is associated with physical effort and entails a natural risk and the risk of accidents, the possibility of injuries and physical injuries (including death), and also damage and property losses.

12. The organizer reserves the right to permit medical and paramedical staff employed by/or on behalf of the organizer to provide first medical help or other medical procedures as well as to transport the participant to a safe place. The participant accepts such activities.

13. In special cases indicating the exhaustion of the organism, the Organizer or the Organizer's services have the right to withdraw a participant who is physically incapable of continuing the race.

I – 2:00 PM.

II –11.00 AM.

IV- 9.00 AM.

Starting stage of distances HARD

I – 2:00 PM.

II –11.30 AM.

III- 10.30 AM.

IV- 9.30 AM.

15. Starting stage of distance FUN

I – 11.00 AM.

II - 11.00 AM.

III- 10.00 AM.

The starting order for Stage I - individual time trial will be published on the Organizer's website on 04 August 2020 and will include all the participants who transferred the participation fee until 03 August 2020. Those who register after this date and in the race office will be added to the starting list in the order of collecting their starting numbers on 6 August 2020.


15. The starting line will be open for 15 minutes after the start signal. Participants who start later will not be included in the stage results and will not qualify as participants finishing the race.

16. At the start of stages II, III and IV the participants will be lined up in accordance with the places in the Individual Classification OPEN, HARD and HELL after stage I.

Sector I: places 1 - 15 + Women

Sector II: places 16 - 50

Sector III: places from 51

There are no sectors for the FUN distance in Stage I. The order of the placement is decisive. Lining up on the starting line will be possible 15 minutes before the planned start, people who line up earlier will be directed to the back.

17. The start sectors will be open 15 minutes before the start of stages II, III and IV, and they will be closed 3 minutes prior to the start. The participant who does not manage to line up in his start sector, should line up in the last sector.

18. The arrival limit to the finish line of the stages is:

- Stage II: 5:00 PM

- Stage III: 5:30 PM

- Stage IV: 4:00 PM

19. Participants who do not meet the time limit may continue the race, but will not be considered in the classifications.

20. OPEN stage winners in categories and pairs (places 1-3) must be present at the award ceremony. The winners will be decorated at:

- Stage I: 6:30 PM

- Stage II: 5:00 PM, Stage I for FUN

- Stage III: 5:00 PM, Stage II for FUN

- Stage IV: 3:00 PM, Stage III for FUN, after which decoration ceremony of the winners of final general classification will be held.

21. Absence from the podium during the decoration ceremony at each stage will result in the addition of a 3-minute penalty for absence to the time obtained at that stage. However, if a competitor is to be decorated in several classifications, the penalty will be applied only once in one stage. If this results in a change in the classification of the stage for the benefit of the other competitors, this does not change during the decoration of the stage itself, and does not give rise to a prize other than that provided for before the penalty minutes were added. At the same time, the absent participant loses the right to the prize.

22. The route of the race will be marked, permanently secured by judges and paramedics. Checkpoints will be located along the route. Avoidance of at least one checkpoint will be punished with disqualification. The Organizer will use personal GPS locators to verify the competitors' journey.

23. All possible equipment repairs and other situations requiring the competitors to stop must take place within the visibility of the route in a way that does not hinder other competitors from riding.

24. Help for participants provided in a manner inconsistent with the principles of safety in Road Traffic or one that directly affects their sporting performance is prohibited and may lead to disqualification or a penalty for the contestant.

25. The Organizer shall not be liable for any traffic accidents or collisions on the road with the participation of cyclist, service vehicles and any other road users.


§ 11 Environmental Protection


1. Participants must respect the environment and absolutely must not pollute the racecourse outside the designated buffet zones as well as 100 meters behind and before the boards informing about the buffet zone. Glass containers must not be used near or on the race course.

2. Participants who are caught dropping litter on the race route outside the designated points in the first proven case will receive a time penalty of 15 minutes added to the time of the ride of the participant, and in case of repeated litter will be disqualified and charged with a financial penalty of 500 PLN, which they are obliged to pay to the account of any chosen public benefit organization.



§ 12 Categories



1. Individual classification

a. Dystans HARD/FUN

• Female Classification: 1. OPEN (regardless of age of the contestant)

• Male Classification: 1. OPEN (regardless of age of the contestant)

2. M2 - 16-29 years (1991-2004)

3. M3 - 30-39 years (1981-1990)

4. M4 - 40-49 years (1971-1980)

5. M5 - 50 and above (1970 and earlier)

b. Distance HELL

• Female Classification: 1. OPEN ( 18 and more years)

• Male Classification: 1 OPEN (regardless of age of the contestant)

2. M2 - 18-29 years (1991-2002)

3. M3 - 30-39 years (1981-1990)

4. M4 - 40-49 years (1971-1980)

5. M5 - 50 and above (1970 and earlier)

2. Pair Classification will be done just for distances HARD and HELL

a. HELL (2 men or 1 man and 1 woman on HELL distance)

b. Man HARD (2 men on HARD distance)

c. Mix (1 man and 1 woman who start at different distances HARD and HELL it does not matter who at which distance)

3. Pair classification is calculated on the basis of OPEN results. The winning team will overcome the shortest total riding time. Participants can be classified in only one of the Pair Classifications.

4. Team Classification:

In the team classification only teams that finish the competition after all stages in the composition of min. 4-person will be considered. It does not matter at what distance, in the time limit given for each stage.

Team classification is based on the total number of kilometers ridden by the participants from all distances. Only kilometers of participants who have completed each stage are counted towards the classification. After each stage the kilometers of these participants will be added up. If any participant does not finish stage II or III, then his kilometers from previous stages will be included in this classification. The best team of OCHOTNICA MTB 4 TOWERS will be the team whose members will complete the most kilometers as described above. There is no limit on the number of participants for one team. In case of equal number of kilometers, the victorious team will be the one whose rider obtains best time in the OPEN final classification on the HELL distance. If teams of the same number of kilometers have no representatives at that distance, the OPEN HARD classification will be taken into account.


§ 13 General Classification



1. General Classification

a. The general classification counts the sum of the times at various stages, the winner is the player who completes all the stages with the shortest amount of time. In case of equal time of two or more participants, the victory is determined by taking a higher place at the finish line of the last stage.

b. A participant who has exceeded the time limit for arrival to the finish line of stage II, III or IV will not be classified.

c. A participant who fails to complete a stage will not be classified.


2. General Classification of the MIX pairs

a. The classification includes the achieved times according to the general OPEN classification of the woman from a given distance and man from a different distance who applied as MIX pair. The winner is the pair who gets the shortest total riding time after 4 stages. Applies to HELL/HARD distances.

3. General Classification of pairs HELL/HARD

a. The classification includes the achieved times according to the general OPEN classification of 2 men separately for HARD and HELL distances (or one man and one woman for HELL) who applied as a Pair. The winner is the Pair who gets the shortest total riding time after 4 stages.

4. General TEAM Classification

Among the teams that finish the whole competition in the composition of min. 4-person, regardless of the distance a team classification will be carried out covering the total distance of all distances. The total number of kilometers ridden by the participants counts towards the team classification. Only kilometers of participants who have completed particular stages shall be counted towards the classification. After each stage, the kilometers of these participants will be added up. If any participant does not finish stage II, III or IV, then his kilometers from previous stages will be included in this classification. The best team of OCHOTNICA MTB 4 TOWERS will be the team whose members will complete the most kilometers as described above. There is no limit on the number of participants for one team. In case of equal number of kilometers, the victorious team will be the one whose rider obtains best time in the OPEN final classification on the HELL distance. If teams of the same number of kilometers do not have representatives at that distance, the OPEN HARD classification will be taken into account. The TEAM classification will include the kilometers ridden by the participants of a given team, who finish the competition within the limits of the arrival to the finish line of stages.


§ 14 Prizes



1. Prizes awarded after each stage:

a. First 3 female participants of the Individual Classification OPEN and first 3 male participants of the Individual Classification OPEN will receive commemorative cup + commemorative diploma,

b. At each stage from places 1-3 the participants of any age group will receive commemorative diplomas and the winners in their category will receive commemorative cups,

c. At each stage the first 3 pairs will receive commemorative diplomas.



2. Prizes in the General Classification:

a. General Classification OPEN Men first 6 participants will receive either financial or in-kind prizes of value:

1. 1st place - 1000 PLN + Cup

2. 2nd place - 600 PLN + Cup

3. 3rd place - 400 PLN + Cup

4. 4th place - 300 PLN

5. 5th place - 250 PLN

6. 6th place - 200 PLN

b. General Classification OPEN Women first 3 riders will receive either financial or in-kind prizes of value:

1. 1st place - 1000 PLN + Cup

2. 2nd place - 600 PLN + Cup

3. 3rd place - 400 PLN + Cup

a. General Individual Classification OPEN Men first 6 participants will receive either financial or in-kind prizes of value

1. 1st place - 700 PLN + Cup

2. 2nd place - 500 PLN + Cup

3. 3rd place - 300 PLN + Cup

4. 4th place - 200 PLN

5. 5th place - 150 PLN

6. 6th place - 100 PLN

b. General Classification OPEN Women first 6 riders will receive either financial or in-kind prizes of value:

1. 1st place - 700 PLN + Cup

c. General Individual Classification OPEN Men first 5 participants will receive either financial or in-kind prizes of value:

1. 1st place - 400 PLN + Cup

2. 2nd place - 300 PLN + Cup

3. 3rd place - 250 PLN + Cup

4. 4th place - 150 PLN

5. 5th place - 100 PLN

d. General Individual Classification OPEN Women first 6 riders will receive either financial or in-kind prizes of value:

1. 1st place - 400 PLN + Cup

2. 2nd place - 300 PLN + Cup

3. 3rd place - 250 PLN + Cup

4. 4th place - 150 PLN

5. 5th place - 100 PLN


3. In the General Individual Classification in age categories at the distance HELL / HARD / FUN for places 1-3 participants will receive financial or in-kind prizes as well as sports trophies. If a participant from a given age category was also classified in places 1-3 in OPEN classification, he is entitled only to a cup and his prize will be transferred to other participants. Then, in such an age category the number of competitors participating in the decoration in a given category will increase.

4. In the Pair Classification first 3 pairs (separately HELL, Man HARD, Mix) will receive diplomas at each stage, while in the general classification for places 1-3 there will be provided sports trophies and in-kind prizes.

5. In the TEAM Classification first 3 teams in the final classification will receive commemorative cups.

6. Prizes and special bonuses After the first stage, the best participants in the OPEN classification on both distances, both among women and men, will be additionally honored with the leader's jersey, in which they are obliged to start the next stage. After the next stages, the jersey will be given to the participants who have the shortest total driving time at their distance.

7. In the event of failure to collect the prize during the decoration, the prize will become the Organizer’s property or will be given back to the Sponsor.



§ 15 Penalties



1. The main judge of the race in consultation with the Organizer may apply the following penalties:

a. Participant reprimand

b. Extra penalty time

c. Participant disqualification

2. Race participant may be penalized by the Organizer in particular for:

a. Violation of traffic rules,

b. Lack of hard helmets,

c. Litter (only allowed in the buffet zone and up to 100 meters before and after the buffet zone). In case of the first proven case litter disposal on the route the participant will receive a time penalty of 15 minutes, and after the second case the participant will be disqualified and charged with cleaning costs.

d. Disregard for the environment,

e. Deficiencies in equipment which affect safe ride,

f. Failure to comply with the principles of fair play,

g. Unsportsmanlike behavior,

h. Pushing or pulling of another rider by third parties,

3. In the event of disqualification, the organizer does not return the entry fee.



§ 16 Withdrawal of a participant during the race



1. Competitors withdrawing from participation in the competition during the duration of the OCHOTNICA MTB 4 TOWERS regardless of the reason for withdrawal shall be obliged to immediately inform the organizer about this fact before the start or after the end of the stage.

2. In case of withdrawal of a participant during the stage, this fact should be reported by calling the phone number: +48 530-990-749 to avoid rescue operations. In case of no notification about the withdrawal participant will have to cover the costs of rescue operation.

3. In special cases, bearing in mind the welfare of the competitors, the Organizer, in consultation with the race medic, has the right to withdraw the competitor from the competition.



§ 17 Additional Information



1. Participants insure themselves on their own. It is advisable that participants possess personal accidents insurance within OC and NW.

2. The organizer and all persons cooperating with him, as well as those associated with conducting and organization of the race shall not be liable for participants personal injury, property and belongings loss / damages which occur before, during or after the race. Participants compete at their own risk. Participants bear civil liability and legal responsibility for all damages. By signing this declaration, participants waive their right to seek legal measures or reimbursement from the organizer or its contractors in the event of an accident or damage associated with the event. I acknowledge that in the event of an accident no claims against the Organizer can be made.

3. The Organizer reserves the right to interpret the provisions of the organizational regulations of the following General Rules and Regulations, interpretation of the rules of sports regulations belongs to The Chief Judge of the Race.

4. Each participant takes part in the competition at their own risk.

5. Each participant taking part in the race confirms knowledge of the rules and declares that he is in good enough health to participate in Ochotnica MTB 4 Towers 2020.

6. The race will take place regardless of weather conditions, except for the situation when the area of the race is declared the state of natural disaster as well as "Force majeure".

7. Start in the race is synonymous with knowledge and acceptance of the above regulations. Participants during the event are obliged to comply with these rules and to communicate with due respect with the Judges, Organizers, other employees and other participants of the event. Vulgar words and unsportsmanlike behavior are not accepted.

8. The Organizer reserves the right to make changes in the General Rules and Regulations.
